Today’s topic: Break the Addiction
Text: Romans 6:16 “Don’t you realize that grace frees you to choose your own master? But choose carefully, for you surrender yourself to become a servant—bound to the one you choose to obey. If you choose to love sin, it will become your master, and it will own you and reward you with death. But if you choose to love and obey God, he will lead you into perfect righteousness.”
As earlier discussed, Addictions are things you can’t do without. These addictions may start up as innocent habits but are eventually sponsored by spirits.
How do I break free
As we said, Addictions is spiritual. Breaking from an addiction involves coming into partnership with a stronger spirit, according to Mark 3:27
Asking God for help is the first step to breaking free. He will surely hear and guide you out of it. Follow his guide in his word and don’t give room for the opportunity to present itself.
Prayer: Father I ask for help to permanently break free from every addiction.
Living holy means being consecrated being different. It’s a separation.
Jesus said one thing we should do daily: Deny ourselves and pick up the cross
Luke.9.23 – And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Doing this seems very hard and impossible but a simple way to it is to do it DAILY. Tell God you want to obey Him TODAY and say it daily. when you don’t obey him, come to Him repent and tell him again. This builds in your heart a holy consciousness that you are alive and living forthr glory of the Lord Jesus
Living a holy life means you are walking in obedience to word of God. Obedience to God is practised. Always be quick to obey. You will walk in Holiness.
Grace and peace, God loves you welcome to the open heavens Devotional review. 12th August 2020.
Topic: FEED YOUR BRAIN Text: Proverbs 18:1-2 Prov.18.1 – A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. Prov.18.2 – A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart.
Prov.4.7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
The Void of Knowledge is necessary to be filled for you have to live and to fly high. The younger generation needs to learn to the spend resources(Time/Data, etc) to acquire knowledge Don’t be so busy you don’t get to invest in yourself, in right Knowledge “You begin to live right when you get the right knowledge.” …See;John 10:10
Proverbs 20:15 You may have an abundance of wealth, piles of gold and jewels, but there is something of far greater worth: speaking revelation words of knowledge.
Knowledge gives a wealth of experience which you will need it. But take note that, Knowledge will be almost useless if you don’t apply. Some of us are learning but not practising what you’ve learned. This is not profitable
The difference between the wise and fool is understanding. Get the right understanding.
1Cor.1.30 – He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
Grace and peace to you and your family as you grow in Knowing Jesus

Today’s topic: HEALING AND HEALTH
MEMORISE: Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33:6
BIBLE READING: Psalms 107:20 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
MESSAGE: Healing is God’s promise to our bodies through the Sacrifice of the Jesus. Thispromise is confirmed again in John 10:10
“The Thief(Devil) might come in to steal, kill or destroy but Jesus came that you may have life and have it to the full.”
John 10:10, Amplified version
Looking at the world situation, those who have money like in our examples today are still victims of the destruction of the devil. Yet as Christians we hold to HIS promise in Psalms 23:4 …even though I walk through the valley of the influence of death(which includes sickness) I fear no evil for the Lord is with me.
Know that the Lord is with you and stand on His promise of healing and health.
Isa.53.5 – But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were healed! [NLT]

Topic: SELF EXAMINATION
BIBLE READING:2Cor.13.5 – Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
If you find it difficult to hear the voice of God, you may need to look inward and carry out a seIf-examination.
A Self examination is an evaluation of our walk with the Lord. This means allowing His word to purge you.
Another version puts it this way 2 Corinthians 13:5 Now your souls will be strengthened and healed if you HOLD STEADFAST to your faith. Haven’t you already experienced Jesus Christ himself living in you? *If not, you are *deficient* .
To be deficient means a lack, the only way to not be deficient in fellowship with God is constantly holding on to His word in your hearts and also your mouth.
HYMN: WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way, While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey.
Chorus: Trust and obey, For there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise, Not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away, Not a doubt or a fear, Not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey.
Not a burden we bear, Not a sorrow we share, But our toil He doth richly repay, Not a grief nor a loss, Not a frown nor a cross, But is blest if we trust and obey.
But we never can prove The delights of His love, Until all on the altar we lay, For the favour He shows, And the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey.
Then in fellowship sweet We will sit at His feet, Or we’ll walk by His side in the way, What He says we will do, Where He sends, we will go, Never fear, only trust and obey.

Today’s Topic is THE AGONIES OF ETERNAL DEATH
Text: Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the despicable, the murderers, the perverts, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all deceivers, they will find their place in the lake of fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Eternal death(the Second death) is eternal separation from the father. It’s the life after death where there is no reconnection to the Father, #Abba, who is the Source and life Himself,.
Nobody just experiences this death except if the person #Rejects the gospel of Christ Jesus who came to give men life. The Passion Translation John 10:10 …* But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!* He’s the door to life, ever waiting to accept anyone who comes regardless of your past.
Once a man rejects this life, there’s the condemnation of Death. (John 3:18) Don’t be a victim of wrong choice, Despite the damage of sin, Christ Jesus is the #total Saviour,
